Cake, isn’t it delicious

So you know our love of diaper bags. There was one released recently from Petunia Pickle Bottom called the Cake. It is by far the most beautiful diaper bag I have ever seen. They are made from European cut velvet with coordinating wool tweed and are available in three colors: Blueberry Crumb Cake, Lemon Chiffon Cake, and Strawberry Lace Cake.

You can carry it 4 ways: Hobo/Clutch, Shoulder Strap, Back Pack, or with the Valet Stroller Clips. It has a built-in, removable when needed changing station and the most stunning wipes case I have ever seen (I know, you’re thinking how nice can it be). All the hardware is custom stamped and sculptured in antique brass. Even though it’s pricy, I think it’s worth every bite.

Trip to NJ

My husband, myself, and our two children headed down to NJ this past weekend. My sister was in from Texas with my adorable niece. Before we left on our trip, I packed a new, red, G-LiTE stroller into our car. My sister has been checking out strollers for a while now. Camryn is 19 months old and they need a light weight stroller. When I told her we were carrying the UPPAbaby strollers, she had me put one aside for her (worked out nicely we would be seeing her in a few days). What a better way to try out product then on your own family.

My mom, sister, and I packed two G-LiTE strollers into the back of the car (they fold so small we put them on the floor of the back seat), and headed out. We got to our first destination (Short Hills Mall), straped the kiddies in and off we went. My sister is 5′9″, so most strollers were to short for her. She loved that it kept her back straigh and she didn’t have to lean over. The basket underneath was a must-have for her. It held more stuff than I could have imagined. It road smooth and our two little ones were very content - as content as a 19 month and 2 year old can be! I wish I would have taken a picture of the two of them…hind sight.
