The clan at Green Baby will go through your things and give you a call as to what we will be keeping. Please don’t take it personally if we don’t take all of your things, it just may be that we have those items already. Dropped off items must be clean (washed, scrubbed and spit and shined, ok that might be going a little far, but no one wants dirty things), in good to excellent condition and free from any defects.
Please drop your things off in sturdy containers (if you use shopping bags and they rip, we can not be held responsible for misplaced items) with your name, phone number, email and mailing address. Once dropped off, give us about a week to go through your items and get in touch with you. In return, you will have a week to reclaim and unwanted items. Anything that is not reclaimed (I feel like I’m at the baggage area at TF Green), we will donate for you and mail you your check for anything we have taken.
How much will I get for my things? We are happy to give you 30% of the resale value that is determined at the time of drop off. Or for an additional 20% to make it 50%, you can receive your money back in a Bellani gift card. What a better way to clean our your closets and let us do the work for you. No more putting ads on Craigs list and dealing with ebay and shipping.

Mylicon Recall!
November 19, 2008
JOHNSON & JOHNSON • MERCK CONSUMER PHARMACEUTICALS COMPANY ANNOUNCES URGENT VOLUNTARY NATIONWIDE RECALL OF INFANTS’ MYLICON® GAS RELIEF DYE FREE DROPS (SIMETHICONE-ANTIGAS) NON-STAINING DUE TO POSSIBLE METAL FRAGMENTS
![]()
Fort Washington, PA (November 10, 2008) – Johnson & Johnson • Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals Company (JJMCP) is voluntarily recalling approximately 12,000 units of Infants’ MYLICON® GAS RELIEF DYE FREE drops (simethicone-antigas) non-staining sold in 1 oz. plastic bottles that were distributed after October 5, 2008 nationwide. The company is taking this action in consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Although the potential for serious medical events is low, the company is implementing this recall to the consumer level as a precaution after determining that some bottles could include metal fragments that were generated during the manufacturing process. If any medical events were to occur, most are expected to be temporary and resolve without medical treatment. Parents who have given the product to their infant and are concerned should contact their health care provider immediately. Follow this link through to Mylicon for lot numbers….

Moms of three or more will either just laugh at me or nod in agreement at this entry. Yesterday, I went out with my three children, by myself. I clearly remember stroller shopping when I was pregnant with our second. I told my husband that the weight of the stroller was unimportant to me, because clearly I would never leave the house with the two children by myself. When I was a new mom I didn’t have the overwhelming desire to leave the house on adventures everyday because all of my needs were met on my block. I have friends that are neighbors and my elderly grandparents lived next door to me. I had socialization and a babysitter for a quick run to the grocery store. Of course, within two weeks I had the baby in the moby and was off gallivanting (that is the word my grandfather always used). This time the thought never crossed my mind to stay home. I go to work, swim lessons, baseball games, meetings, errands daily. I always have help though. I’m very fortunate to have a husband who loves baseball at night (with the bugs!). He never complains when I ask him to make dinner (albeit Macaroni & Cheese) because I’m running late. But sometimes he isn’t around…
Which brings me to yesterday, my husband is out of town, baby sitter is off. I woke up 1 1/2 hours before my normal alarm tone and got moving. I made snacks, packed bags, filled rubbermaid containers full of toys, games, and dvds, got the children ready and set off for the day. We tackled an 8 hour work day at Bellani, went to my son’s last baseball game of the season (totally used my Beco for holding Em during that trip), and then stopped by the neighbors picked up our friend Steve and his two children (the adorable Preston and Luca) and off for ice cream. On our walk home from the ice cream parlor (I love that word) we got caught in the rain, but no one cared. What a fabulous evening. I never want to forget this being my first day with all three children by myself. It reminds me that I can do this, and that maybe, one day, I’ll tackle the grocery store.
